How long have you grown dahlias?

I started in 2019 with 6 free tubers I found in a bag at a hardware store with a sign saying free take what you want. There was alot there and took the 6 because I had no idea what they were. I have grown flowers for years but never dahlias. The flowers weren’t much compared to what I grow now but they started the seed.
